Jim

The prospect of conservatives engaging in civil disobedience may ultimately prompt the liberals to do something they would never before have supported: Build more prisons. That, and ban former prisoners who’ve served their time from having their rights restored.

But let’s be honest... They are more likely to empty the prisons of rapists and murderers to make room for the tax cheats.

Should I bring the chips and dip?

Cuz I get the feeling that there will be a LOT of us there.

I will go willingly and once I am released I will go again.

See you in debtor's prison.

I hear some space will be opening up soon in Gitmo. I wouldn't mind spending some time on a nice Caribbean island.

>>What sort of civil disobedience is acceptable?

According to the Declaration of Independence, when a government is destructive to the liberties of men it is the right of the people to alter or abolish said government.

According to the Constitution the Militia, of which most men 18-40 years in the country are (according to the standard definition in their state’s Constitution) is able to be called by the Congress to “execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions.”

The Constitution is also clear 1) that NO BRANCH may pass ex post facto law OR bill of attainder; both houses and the executive branch are responsible for passing ex post facto laws & bills of attainder. (Ref retroactive taxation, taxation targeting bailout bonus recipients after the matter, the selective voiding of certain people’s legal rights [GM/Chrystler]...) AND 2) that _IT_ is the supreme law of the land, all others subordinate.

Therefore, it is abundantly clear that VIOLENT CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE is both acceptable and legal under the Constitution’s eyes. (If it were not acceptable, then as the Government is trying to [immorally] do with multi-generational debt would be utterly fine... or does the Constitution give the Government the right to make slaves of us all?)

I refuse to buy it!

As would I.

I've stopped all non-critical spending. A distressed economy is the albatross to hang around socialists necks. It's something the "useful idiots" might understand as they certainly don't understand the philosophy socialism.

Not even 1 year into (their savior) Barry's world and it seems to be going very bad.

Coming from Michigan it was easy to slow down my spending in this socialist state many years before el presidente.

spend less, protest more BUMP!

Is it ok to use (Expletive Deleted) in front of that statement so they know how you really feel.

I'm not going to buy it.

Nor am I going to pay the fine for not buying it.

And I've no intention of going to jail over it.

Coming soon to a bridge near you.
