Republican efforts to interview a former top aide to Michelle Obama in the controversial case of a fired inspector general have been stymied by the White House, the top Republican looking into the case said Tuesday.

The White House counsel's office has blocked Republican investigators from interviewing Jackie Norris, former chief of staff for the first lady, about President Obama's dismissal of former AmeriCorps Inspector General Gerald Walpin.

Republican investigators from the House Committee on Government Oversight and Reform have wanted to question Norris -- who is now senior adviser to the Corporation for National and Community Service, the organization that oversees AmeriCorps -- since they discovered earlier this month that she met with Alan Solomont, chairman of CNCS on June 9, the day before Walpin was fired.

Remember, watergate wasn’t the scandal, it was the coverup (and partisan press witchhunt...).

Oh, here we go. This is exactly how it’s going to be. There’ll be a new one every week.

Since his wife isn’t president, how can Obama claim executive privilege? The government is not harmed by a full open discussion of matters she is involved in.

100 times more.

Clinton deserved a good beating and a broken nose. —so to speak—

This crew deserves life in prison, at the very least. —period—

Can one make an “Executive Privilege” claim when it comes to the staff of the First Lady??? I don’t think so. I’m throwing down the Red Bean Bag (instant replay review) on this one.

There is no one to enforce it. The AG is owned. A minority member cannot subpoena anything or call a hearing. The media does not care. It goes into the ether.

Barry and the White House = guilty, simply by doing what they are with this case.

“This regime is more corrupt than the Clintonistas.”

I don’t know. That’s a tall wall to climb.

Clinton burned to death women and children in a church. Gave military secrets to the ChiComms. And dropped bombs in Europe to distract his stupid Monica affair.

That’s a tall order to beat.

(I know. I know. Give the Chicago thug time.)

Sarge, if he gets the time he WILL do the crime. Clinton has a great desire to be liked — really liked — by others.

Obama only has a desire to be worshiped by himself first, and then others should follow the lead of their god, Obama.

Obama is far more dangerous, and he is more dangerous for having a more evil and stable partner than Hilary.

That is to say, Obama doesn’t care if people like him. Fear of him will be equally godlike.

Chicago politica at it’s best. Thugs, all of them.
Chicago mob mentality doesn’t just apply to white men of Italian heritage. There are lots of dark faces there, as well.

No wonder Oprah is moving out.
