Wonder if he spent a lot of money that night, and could he find the brothel?

I find it hard to believe that a sailor would go get utterly destroyed on his 21st birthday.

My son had a different experience on his 21st birthday in the Navy. He got married.

No worries - the Admiral will get his bell-hop out of the clink real quick.
(Pity the Army wasn’t there - then they would have teamed up!)

The man was kicked out of the Old Town Bistro early Saturday morning A sailor kicked out of a bar? Probably the first time that's ever happened!

Bummer.
Found out he should not ever drink on the first day it was legal to do so.

The line from Bull Meecham’s coming-aboard speech to the squadron in “The Great Santini” comes to mind: The only time they’re on the same side is when we’re at war and when Army plays Navy.

I find it hard to believe that a sailor would go get utterly destroyed on his 21st birthday. Hold the phone...was the suspect a Marine or a Sailor?:
The Kitsap Sun reports about 12:15 a.m. a witness said the man approached him and started a conversation. The man said he was in the Marines, while the witness replied he was in the Navy. The suspect shook his hand then punched him in the face saying, "I ... hate the Navy."

Two security guards tried to subdue the suspect, but one was kicked in the groin."
Having been neither, I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for Sailors and Marines. They are men(and probably women) much tougher than me.
Having said that...this story brings nothing but a smile to my face. Why do I keep hearing a Charlie Daniels song playing while I imagine the scenario? Probably Uneasy Rider 2. It sounds like a good 21st birthday.

This is the most beautiful military base I have ever been to.
Hard to understand anyone being pissed off being stationed there

The sailor was spending his own money.

Sounds like what happened to a friend of mine. The Navy later made him a squadron commanding officer. So this kid’s career isn’t over yet.
