I agree this is nonsense. People can “stand up for Christmas” without some silly Congressional resolution. And it does act as cover for Republicans who are too corrupt, scared, stupid or lazy to “stand up against” binge spending and massive entitlement expansion.

Message to Congressional Republicans: I would agree to ban Christmas if you actually managed to get your act together enough to actually cut spending.

1) Small Government works best
2) reform the DAMN tax code
3) Support conservative social issues but don’t insist on Government being involved in our lives,our bodies or our homes.

If we banned Christmas, then maybe Muslims would not set off firecrackers on passenger airplanes on Christmas Day. :)
