Of course Sarah used her term "death panels" as a metaphor for future rationing which has been a part of every one of the proposed bills, not to mention every country that has socialized medicine. It's my guess that Sarah didn't qualify her term as a metaphor so that the leftist pols, interest groups and media would jump on it as a "lie" and if (GOD FORBID!) a bill is passed then the blueprint for such rationing will be found in the bills language and she will be able to then prove that she was on the money.
Get back to me in 10 years. We shall see.

In the UK the Death Panels are very active. Something with the Orwellian bureaucratic acronym of NICE denies Brits treatments for cancer and other serious illnesses.
On the clinical wards, the Death Panel euphemism is called the “Liverpool Protocols.”

The only way to not have a government bureaucrat decide on life or death for a patient is to approve EVERY procedure and medication for EVERY patient as ordered by EVERY doctor.
Refuse just one, just one time and that bureaucrat becomes a death panel of one.

My guess is that this ‘panel of experts’ comes from the same general stagnant pool of global warming, economic and other so called sages. Laughable.
