The law will take effect in May, banning smoking in restaurant, bars, workplaces and government buildings. Cigar bars, casinos, and smoke shops are exempt.

Ganders really seemed to enjoy their smokes as I recall, even more than in many other states where I’ve been. That and their general predisposition to say “F**K YOU” to authority up there should make this reeeeeeeal interesting.
Let’s see them enforce this crap in Detroit’s downtown black neighborhood bars. Won’t happen.
I’m sure this will be strictly enforced in downtown Detroit
As a Detroit area resident(Lincoln Park), I expect this law to be mostly ignored, at least at the adult beverage establishments I frequent. I recently purchased some property in Carroll county Ohio, and that seems to be the case there.
I don’t smoke so really it doesn’t matter to me personally, but if these libtards ever got everyone to quit smoking think of all the taxes they’d lose. This is precisely the reason they’ll never outright ban tobacco.
It seems odd, though typically clueless, that she signs a law regulating one addiction at the site of a business that caters to another addiction.
