To: Col Frank Slade

25 years ago, Al Gore was telling us about the threat of dirty rock and roll albums. Then in 1988 he ran for the presidency.

It’s all about attention, nothing about genuine concerns.

Has the music industry culture gone on to produce more uplifting or consistently more base works since the PMRC hearings from Gore and his wife?

Ah yes it’s always the crisis du jour.

Frank Zappa testified at those PMRC hearings and basically called Tipper Gore a moron.

He was right.
