After years of public service and elected office, you can be sure that Palin has plenty of political team material waiting in the wings.

Remember, she was isolated and hamstrung by the incompetent and malfeasant McCain hacks last year. Had she been allowed to follow her own formidable political instincts she would never have had any of the tactical gaffes that marred her campaign. The only times she flew into any buildings were when her (McCain) "team" misled her and set her up.

The slogan for the next cycle should be "Let Palin be Palin!"

Beats me. It seemed to me that a lot of McCain people were covert Obama supporters. In retrospect McCain clearly had no control over his own campaign, and the results showed.

Romney won’t even run - he knows he’s toast.

I am not a betting person, but if I were, I'd bet that not only will Mitt Romney run, he'll be one of the spoilers that prevent a successful challenge to the dangerous train wreck that is Barack Obama.

Why do I say this?

Romney could go back to the business world, but instead chooses to spread his money around, collecting favors here and there, stoking his ego. Those are the actions of someone who plans to run.

Romney has held office exactly once, despite running unsuccessfully in 1994 & 2007-8, pumping tens of millions of his own dollars into his (long) failed campaigns. Last year, despite the cash and the length of his pitifully sad campaign, Mitt couldn't edge above 20% or so, and is vehemently disliked by the majority of people in his own party.

In spite of those rejections and in spite of the fact that (unlike Sarah Palin), no one has any questions about anything Romney has every said or could possibly say, he plans a self-congratulatory book tour next spring to share his non-existent wisdom and "insight".

Mitt Romney insists on injecting himself into politics because (in his own opinion) we need his wisdom and middle-of-the-road huckster-ism.

Mitt Romney is the question no one wants an answer to.

He'll run because his ego won't allow him to do otherwise, and America will be the worse for it.

After laying low during Palinpalooza, the former governor is back atop the GOP pack for 2012

Yeah, he's back on top of the GOP all right ...

The only reason Mitt is at the top is that no one is taking a really serious look yet.

You should have written the article. Telling it as it is, is always more believable.

Well, if he should run, he’ll make a fool of himself!

I was at the local Costco store yesterday; you know how liberal they are, but after selling out their first two orders of Palin’s book, both of which were huge, they now have a third order on display, covering an entire table, 12 books high, 6 books deep, and 12 books wide!

Think there’s a little demand for the book?

Establishment pols of both parties have lots to learn, and very little time to learn it.

Stake. Garlic. Silver? What it is going to take to make this a-hole go away?

Why do you blow right past decapitation, dismemberment and burning, and jump immediately to these more specialized and advanced methods of dispatching unholy minions of pure evil? I say treat RINOs like Zombies first. If that doesn't work, then we can try wooden stakes and silver bullets.

But wait, we wanna drive Obama out because of (among other things) his persistence on health care.

What makes anyone think we want to have Romney there so that we can have the dem-lite version of health care?

Whatever. Welcome to Fantasy Island!

Romney fizzled out way early last time in spite of the money he spent.

What doesn't he get that WE DON'T WANT HIM?

Betcha those are largely the same who were formerly attached to ROMNEY or his campaign.

Not only taking mittions into his campaign, but then placing them in key positions and then following their advice, was an act of monumental cluelessness on McLoser's part. And for someones as habitually addicted to stupid as McLoser, that's really saying something.

Hannity who did post taxpayer raped bailouts for GM, to, buy GM product?

Oh. Yeah. Mitt proposed a 20 billion Detroit bailout in the Michigan primaries.

Figures.
