PRINCETON, NJ -- After the release of her much-publicized autobiography and the ensuing book tour, Sarah Palin is still viewed more unfavorably than favorably by Americans, though her favorable rating has improved slightly (now 44%, up from 40% in October).

She's getting better among Dems, that's what stood out in this poll to me.

Not shabby I think.

“While releasing a best-selling autobiography may have had a modest positive effect on views of her, it did not register quite the same impact as former first lady Hillary Clinton’s book release appeared to in June 2003. Prior to the publication of Clinton’s memoir “Living History,” 45% of Americans viewed her favorably and 46% unfavorably. Those ratings shifted to 53% favorable/43% unfavorable when the book was released, and remained above 50% for the next three-plus years.”

Damn Gallup! Clinton’s net moved 11%. Palins 7%. Not such a difference. And moving in the right direction.

Well, HRC had the MSM, included the Clinton News Network who gave favorable reviews to the book. Plus, people wanted to know what she had to say about certain blue dress..

Plus, people wanted to know what she had to say about a certain blue dress.. .................... It struck me as an “Inquiring Minds Wanted to Know” type of a book for those people who love reading the supermarket tabloids.

She’s really doing better.

If she continues her message and reaching out to middle America, by 2011 ... SHE WILL BE THE FORCE TO BEAT in the Republican Primaries.

SHE’LL BE STRONGER THAN THE OBAMESSIAH.

To do that, she has to carry a huge story going forward to 2012. HER MAIN ASSET: CHARISMA.

The truth is this: MCCAIN LACKED CHARISMA.

To GOP: CHARISMA IS WHAT REALLY DICTATES THE WINNER OF THE ELECTION.

The general election is a popularity contest.

When a president goes down the crapper, any opopnent is going to be popular. So we have to pick our best.

I do think Palin and her family would be beautiful in the whitehouse. They seem to be genuine good people.

That zer0 has a favorable rating of 56 is truly disturbing and shows we still are in deep trouble. Even if his job approval is under 50, way too many morons out there still think he is a decent guy who is trying to do good. If it weren’t so tragic I would almost laugh.

I didn’t see a job approval rating here but didn’t Gallup have it at a mere 47 a few days ago? I hope that is closer to the truth than this obvious sham poll AP put out today saying it is 56%! Must have sampled 70% Dems.

Why do people even bother to read a Gallup poll? It’s just another tool of the DNC

Personally I do not believe that Hillary was liked more? I did not like her before or after she wrote her book.

Clinton’s net moved 11%. Palins 7%. Not such a difference.

...especially when you consider the 'lamestream marxist media' had their lips firmly attached to Hillary's ample hindquarters; while the same group of blackberry-toting thugs were constantly beating the Governor and her family round the head and shoulders with a metaphorical Louisville Slugger. All things considered (spit!)...not bad, Mrs. Palin...not bad at all.

Yep, and Palin has held top spot for ALL books sold for 4 weeks on the USA Today Best Seller List (and many other lists). Compare to Obama 0 weeks, Hillary 1 week, Bill 2 weeks, Powell 3 weeks. It is quite possible Palin’s numbers will continue to improve for some weeks.

The only people I see supporting or viewing obamao favorably are blacks and jimmah carter bleeding heart, co dependent liberals.

No one who works in the private sector can support this guy. Most companies in America have the specter of layoffs or downsizing hanging over their head. At first it was there on account of the economy, now its there on account of the government behaving in an erratic, irrational, totalitarianistic manner. I am going to thoroughly enjoy the shock and awe of November 2010. Safe Dem Seats will be falling to “surprise” conservative victors. Miss America will be out of the speakers chair. Dingy Harry will be out of the senate, and the day after the Republican takeover, the stock market will rise 1000 points.

This is exactly why he will be re-elected. If they do not believe that he will be re-elected, they will cancel the electin. How? I don't know, but. them I do not know how he has gotten away with everything else he has done.

He will have the support of:1. The Democrat Party. 2. The media organizations, 3. The Republican Party elite.4. Every idiot, moron, fool, parasite, and traitor in the United Staes.

There’s a lot of water that will be flowing under the bridge between now and 2012, so I wouldnt be too sure that people’s feelings will remain unchanged by then.

I AM concerned about the cancelling of elections, and I am wary about what is going to happen in 2010, before we get to 2012.

I believe that it is a legitimate concern. Especially when one takes into consideration his past actions and his demeanor in total. He has accomplished, with the acquiescence [?] of Congress and the aid of the media that even Hillary Clinton would not dare to attempt. This man is very dangerous to you, me, and the Nation

She definitely has charisma,

but I believe that her main asset is her genuineness.

No lefty is going to be able to fake that level of sincerity and “realness”.
