I agree on strong borders, but here is the thing that ru paul and those of you in the claxton brigade seem to have a problem with: This is the 21st century bad people do not have to cross our borders to attack America. Thomas Jefferson, who probably knew more about the Constitution than you paulies, fought the Tripolitan war which DID NOT involve our borders. Even in 1941, the Japanese didn't cross the Rio Grand to attack Pearl Harbor. Would strong border positions have prevented the soviets from taking over western europe during the cold war or was it the fact that American troops were in europe in force? Would strong points on the border prevent the massacre of 7 million Israelites if the arabs decide to attack them or is that not important?

As a side note, I also think paul is an idiot because of his stance on drugs, is that one of the reasons you support him?

To not see the open border with Mexico as a terrorist security risk is absurd.

I also think paul is an idiot because of his stance on drugs, is that one of the reasons you support him?

I think anyone who supports the idea that the government owns your body is an idiot.
