United Airlines passengers removed from flight at Denver airport

This is a news story and video interview done by Chris Vanderveen of 9news about United Airlines Flight 227, which was detained at Denver International Airport yesterday. Police officers and FBI were called to the scene.

The video at the side gives more info, including passenger interviews.

Clearly there is a pattern of such incidents; note similarities to what we are now finding out about Airtran flight 297

In the video, Chris Vanderveen points out that the FBI says (and this is important to note, he says) that there was "nothing criminal taking place".

WHY is what those passengers doing (disrupting commerce, terrorizing passengers and crew) not a criminal matter?

Officials need to reconsider, and airline officials, employees, passengers, and business organizations need to insist that this is most definately a criminal matter. Charges should be filed against ALL those passengers in this incident, regardless of age, race, religion, etc etc, who were impeeding the progress of the flight.

That goes for Airtran flight 297, too. Such incidents are not acceptable.

Didn’t members of the “team” that carried out 9/11 conduct “dry runs”?

Whether we want to call them dry runs for something larger or not, such incidents DO accomplish something immediately: they immediately bring terror and mayhem into an airplane and disrupt activities and airlines under the threat of lawsuits (flying imams).

How many of us have loved ones flying in the next few weeks? The airlines need to hear that we insist on charges being filed in this and other cases.

I wonder if the FBI conclusion that there was “nothing criminal taking place” would have been different if the activities were by Christians or Jews rather than Muslims?

CORRECTION: This took place on WEDNESDAY, Dec 9, not “yesterday”.

At least info is faster getting out here than in flight 297.

I'm concerned these incidents are really intended to be a diversion from what these terrorists are really up to. I think it is more likely they will try truck bombs over here again.

As I’ve said elsewhere...

If 10 tough guys beat the perps to within an inch of their lives, these ahole punks would rule this sort of thing out in the future.

Instead, we keep handling them with PC gloves and they are attacking that weakest of our defenses.

Yes they did. I specifically remember an actor notifying the FBI about what he saw on a transcontinental flight. James Woods, I think.

The Aug 6th memo of 2001 signaled the tightening of controls, and reports of ‘chatter’ indicated something was in the wind. Now we have these 1-off stories of on-board shenanigans before Christmas and the RELEASE of TSA security information.

It’s like the reverse of Aug 6th, 2001, forward. A person could think that with a sudden notification of several days before, by in person visits, similar to Hasan’s visitor prior to the Ft. Hood thing, teams of cells would carry out whatever this is supposed to do. Maybe it’s just to ground travel with on-board fights or disruptions. Maybe that’s really all it is, so as to create a bottleneck/slowdown.

Everyone should have to eat a pound of bacon at the departure gate. Problem solved.

what those passengers doing (disrupting commerce, terrorizing passengers and crew)

I have on a couple of occasions been treated rudely by flight attendants (it was quite a while ago, nothing like that has happened in several years). I was treated in a way that I would never accept from anyone in daily life or commerce, but I swallowed it and went on because I "knew" I would get arrested or at least questioned if I said anything. Apparently I should declare my "Muslim faith" if that ever happens again, and then lay into them.

So what flight did they end up on and where were they going? I am so sick of the politically correct crowd, maybe a few of them need to be the “end result” of these kind Middle Eastern men.

why is it not “criminal” to disobey the orders of a flight crew aboard an aircraft in operation???? and to mimic hijacking with motions....But it’s criminal to make a verbal comment or joke about hijacking

if they tell you to remain seated and turn off all electronic devices- DO IT

or lose the privilege of flying on their airplane if you don’t like it

Flying is a privilege, not a right

These incidents are nothing more than unarmed terrorism. They represent an attempt to intimidate and dominate. And as such, they should be criminally prosecuted.

There must be more to this story for the flight attendants to be as frightened as they were.

Thanks for providing the link to this article from the previous 297 thread.

Your post:

Received a heads-up on another incident, this time at Denver airport on United Airlines. Happened Wed. Seven passengers removed from plane, bomb sniffing dogs brought aboard.

http://www.9news.com/news/article.aspx?storyid=128639&catid=339

This is the only place I see this reported—and it happened 2 days ago. Passengers told 9NEWS the men looked to be “Middle Eastern,” but United wouldn’t confirm, according to the story.

Former Broncos coach Mike Shanahan was aboard, so maybe some sportswriter or ESPN will do the job CNN should be doing. At least the 9News reporter included a request at the bottom of the article for anyone with information to contact him.

we are finding out that any passenger who speaks out gets “Joe the plumbered” and lays themself open for a lawsuit by CAIR

what a world

how does the union find other pilots and attendants willing to fly these smirking a-holes? This is one time I’d like to see the airline union grow a spine

I am thinking the increase in similar incidents is less dry runs and more at trying to extort money from the airlines.

The Minneapolis Imams got a few $million for their antics a couple of years ago.

These characters are hoping for the same kind of lucrative payouts.

Asymmetric Warfare via non-violent “attacks”.
Objective: Impact US air transportation system economically.

Stage incidents. Solicit reactions. Sue the airlines.
