LOL! The Brits haven’t gotten it after 235 yrs. - some have, the telegraph is a Brit newspaper having a go at the BBC “Let me explain” attitude. The BBC is a hotbed of half witted has beens stuck in the liberal mindset of the last century. Intelligent discourse is not welcome or tolerated there. It is paid for by the British taxpayer.
Mr Twain's quote about the press is an apt description for the BBC: "....a horde of ignorant, self-complacent simpletons who failed at ditching and shoemaking and fetched up in journalism on their way to the poorhouse."
