Gravel is one of the most dishonest former politician I know. He has lost numerous court case and is proved dishonest. Additionally I know of several outstanding judgments against him and he claims he can not pay. He is a proved liar to the man in the black robe. This site would be better off if any reference to him was banned. Perhaps some day I will tell you exactly what I think of him.

I was basing my statement on the fact that in his presidential campaigns he was kind of all over the place and seemed indifferent as to where that would land him politically. I am quite willing to be corrected by someone who knows more about him. Perhaps what I thought was uncalculating honesty was just klutzy political stupidity. They sometimes appear similar.
