Fear the “Barracuda”!
Another Politico Palin hit piece. Yawn...
- JP
A guy named Philip Anschutz produces the “Foundation for a Better Life” commercials that Fox runs frequently. He is a Christian, conservative who happens to be a billionaire and he seems inclined to spend his money to make the world a better place. I believe he owns two movie studios and 6000 theaters. Perhaps he would be interested in project of this nature. The right combination of talent could make of blockbuster with this subject matter.
Do you think these fools understand they are insulting everyone who agrees with her position against man-made global warming?
Surprise surprise — I see Politburo.com is up to it’s favorite hobby — Palin-bashing
No bias here. Move along, folks.
Time to drag these eco-fascists before an American-style Nuremberg tribunal and administer swift justice to the guilty.
..........using e-mails, many from the 1990s,.......
In attempt to discredit and trivialize, the Politico emphasizes that the fraud is longstanding and very deep.
There is no defense except to trivialize and lie. Thousands of careers are in deep crap
I’d like to interject two things...
First, that there is indeed “climate change” going on. If there is one thing that we can be sure of, it’s that the climate is going to be different tomorrow from what it was today. It may be hotter or colder or windier or drier - but it won’t be the same...
Secondly, man is part of nature too. Things that man does are just as “natural” as things that any other species does.
Palin says in the editorial:
“But while we recognize the occurrence of these natural, cyclical environmental trends, we can’t say with assurance that man’s activities cause weather changes.”
She means we aren’t sure yet. She doesn’t claim that there is no man-caused warming.
“We can say, however, that any potential benefits of proposed emissions reduction policies are far outweighed by their economic costs. And those costs are real.”
She means that current proposals to reduce our own carbon emissions won’t signficantly reduce global carbon emissions and would mess up our economy big time.
Too bad this Politico writer doesn’t simply seek the truth and report his findings. Maybe his bosses won’t let him. Maybe, bless his heart, he’s missing the truth-seeking gene.
