CEOs and ObamaCare, An internal revolt at the Business Roundtable over support for ObamaCare.

One lesson that Democrats learned from the failure of HillaryCare in 1994 is that they had to buy the silence, if not the outright support, of the business class. They've done this brilliantly by peddling the illusion that ObamaCare will "lower costs" for employers.

But slowly as the legislative details become clear, it is dawning on executives of businesses large and small that reform is boiling down to a huge tax increase to finance a gigantic new entitlement. The cost and quality of care are afterthoughts that will both suffer, as a growing roll of medical experts have been writing on these pages.

We should be gravely concerned that it is taking this long for the supposedly intelligent business gurus to come to the obvious conclusion that 2000 page legislative initiatives will MOST CERTAINLY cost a huge amount of money - tax money - expropriated from all of us.
These folks are supposed to be fiscally savvy and highly knowledgeable about money matters...

It’s time to take back the country.

The Business Roundtable is an exclusive club of big businesses that usually side with big government.

If these guys were taken for a ride by obama, they are pretty damn stupid and I wonder how they can even run their companies.

Big business may not like husseincare but big business doesn’t want to be excluded from money flying off the printing presses.

They probably share in the slush fund and are licking their chops at selling in the one world government.

And the small businesses know full well that they are going to get screwed and the possibility of going under is great. My husband is in manufacturing. His former employer has a huge sign out on the main road that talked about Cap and Tax killing business in America. Hubby said he now has an even bigger sign that includes a reference to the Health Obamination.

His present employer pretty much said that if health care passes, his profitability margin disappears. It's not looking good for us at all.

The only problem is they won’t be making that much money because someone else will be controlling them.

Governments only take away. Some come down from the clouds big business. You are being suckered.

I see that people are kind of shaking their heads that these captains of industry got sucked in and are maybe now just waking up to what the real deal is.

Recall that Germany was once a highly cultured and educated civilization in a not so bygone time. How could it have happened?

Many of these Business Table ass clowns have been pushing cap and trade as well! Really tough to keep your daubers up when the private sector flips
over to the dark side.

That's because nearly 100% of high tech company CEO's are slobbering idiots for 0bozo, and 70% or more Wall Street contributions & CEO's are all solidly socialist demoRAT pigs themselves. That's why they are shipping jobs to China & India and then accepting multi-billion dollar porkulus jobs to supposedly "create" jobs here. In reality the money is just their private pool of slush funds as it will never need to be repaid back.

The only way Obamacare can lower health insurance costs to employers is to make the fine to employers for not covering employees small.

The thing that bothers me is the lack of urgency from Republicans. The Republicans should be exposing this Health Care bill for what it is. The bill is a totalitarian program worthy of Red China. How many rights can the Federal Government usurp before we cease to be the freest country in the world? When we lose our health care rights are we still free people?

No..the "government" will have trashed the Constitution and violated its oath. We will be under a dictatorship.
