Imagine that: an apostate denomination does apostate things. Who could have predicted it? You know, besides everybody?
Such a scene. “Just because we don’t believe in anything,” sputtered the Rt. Hon. Rev. Hengest Cornfustist, “doesn’t mean we can believe in... well, just anything!”

At first glance, I thought it read Furry lesbian is chosen by Anglican Church to be a bishop. I had to click, and then my eyes comprehended the real headline. I did the same thing.

I am so thankful that the Catholic Church will NEVER allow this.

The Catholic Church wouldn’t allow women, but has already had at least one homosexual bishop (Weakland) although since that didn’t turn out so well, presumably they won’t go there again.

I am so thankful that the Catholic Church will NEVER allow this. No they won't. But, unfortunately they are more than willing to tolerate homosexual priests and bishops so long as their sexual activities do not rise into public view. And, even then, they will likely tuck them away somewhere until things blow over.
However, a solution for both may be at hand. Send all the homosexual clergy over to the Episcopal Church, and welcome all of the heterosexual clergy of the Episcopal Church into the Catholic Communion. Both will be better off for it and happier to boot. This is especially true for those going to the Episcopal Church where a belief in God is not required.

Let me rephrase (since humans in the Church are sinners.....some worse than others). The Teaching of the Church will NEVER condone homosexual sex. Period.
It will also never condone adultery for the married.
Sin is sin ....and always will be. This is why we should pray for the Church daily.

I think a schism is absolutely inevitable. Lol ,,, these splits and divisions are all schisms from the one true Church established by Christ.

But does she meet the Biblical standard of being the husband of one wife? That's an interesting question. I'm not up on lesbianism but would think that one of the pair would be the "husband" and the other the "wife" and if this "Bishop" plays the wife part, that would disqualify her right there.

TEC is destined to be the dyke and fag church — nothing more, nothing less. With a few Communists hanging on for the ride.
