Palin answered the questions appropriately and didn’t mention her son Trig in any way as an attempt to place herself beyond question. She pointed out correctly that people who questioned Trig’s maternity were treated with greater legitimacy with far less cause than people who are merely asking to see Obama’s long form birth certificate, a document which has been purposefully withheld from the public by Obama. She also pointed out that she and the campaign at the time provided as much proof as there was that she was Trig’s mother, as if the public proof of a 9 month pregnancy as a public figure wasn’t proof enough.
I find it more than a little annoying at how far the Leftist media goes to misconstrue, restate, rephrase, reinterpret Sarah Palin’s words.
I’m surprised he’s back on this so soon after Krauthammer put the smack down on him.
