Obama asked about legalizing prostitution, gambling, drugs to create jobs By Sam Youngman - 12/04/09 01:08 PM ET

Even though President Barack Obama has repeatedly said that he welcomes all good suggestions about how to spur job growth in the U.S., he made it clear Friday that there are some lengths to which he is not willing to go.

At a townhall meeting at Lehigh Carbon Community College in Allentown, Pa., the president was asked by a student whether Obama what he thinks about legalizing prostitution, gambling or drugs to spur job creation.

After the auditorium erupted in laughter, the president told the student he appreciated "the boldness of your question," before chuckling and saying: "That will not be my jobs strategy."

Obamao was asked if Chicago street life can be a solution for the government driven recession. Maybe not, but it is definitely going to be a result or our Third World adventure.

Great! Get Government involved on ANY level, even just asking them a question, and my Vice Fund stock just dropped two cents, LOL!

and yet many drug industries are legal (alcohol, cigarettes, Rx, and now marijuana)

the lottery, casinos, and race tracks are legal

and prostitution in the form of adult entertainment and massage parlors is legal or overlooked too

His “Safe Schools” Czar seems to like the prostitution idea, especially with high school after school programs...

I’m all for it. Anyone who is for small government and personal responsibility should be for it too.

Why the hell is he still campaigning at colleges. I’m so sick of this photo-op president. Does he ever really DO anything? Everything he does has to include a photo show. Has he ever heard of working and strategizing out of his office.

If he’s worried about the economy, he should ask for suggestions from genuine job creators. That is, businesses (and not facilities or agencies) that employee people that work!

the president told the student he appreciated “the boldness of your question,”

...which translates into a tax audit for the person asking the question.

Hasn’t the Mary Landreau deal last week proved that prostitution already is “legal”?
