Man sentenced for racist Facebook threats

NEW ORLEANS - A federal judge handed down three years of probation for a Mississippi man who, after the election of President Barack Obama, threatened to kill African Americans through a Facebook account, according to U.S. Attorney Jim Letten.
Dyron Hart, 20, who is black and a student at Nicholls State University, of Popularville, Miss., was sentenced for communicating threats in interstate commerce, said Letten.
In August, “Hart created a fictitious name and used the photograph of a white supremacist to communicated a threat. He then purported to be a person outraged by the election of President Barack Obama when he used a Facebook account on a computer in Poplarville, Mississippi to transmit a threat to an African American student at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana indicating he wanted to kill African American individuals because of the election of the President,” said Letten.
Hart used the name Colton Brodoux, setting up his fake page and a photograph of a white supremacist as the avatar on the site.
Posing as a white supremacist, Hart repeatedly used obscenities and the N-word, and he threatened to kill more than 3,000 black people in a month, court documents say. He warned those who received the message of an attack from a "random white man."
Hart must perform 150 hours of community service and complete racial sensitivity course.
Hart told FBI agents that he sent the message to “get a reaction.”

Last night I went to the website of these black foot soldiers because I read they were celebrating the death of four white police officers who had been shot by a black felon.
I am completely boggled by all this and how much hatred I am discovering. This act of duplicity is simply horrid and could have led to another killing.
God bless our police who have to deal with these idiots.
Yeah, I come to that same conclusion after researching those Black Panthers that Obama let go. They were worse than any white person I have ever heard in regards to violent threats to another race.
I can understand some hostility, but it’s been 40 years now and if you were personally a product of racial violence, you are using it as an excuse.
Racism goes both ways and it seems we are finding the pendulum swinging the other direction. Not every black person feels this way obviously, the same way not every white person was for segregation or against civil rights. However the complicit silence is just as bad among blacks as it was among whites who disagreed but said or did nothing.

So many of these “white racist” threats turn out to be a hoax by some black person. There should be severe penalties for this, not some wrist slap like this idiot got.

This guy has a bright future crafting press releases for ACORN, working in marketing for SEIU, or as a policy aide for any Democrat politician.
The "reaction" he hoped to get was preemptive strikes against any random white person-ie, he wanted to inspire murder, hopefully multiple murders. No doubt he is very disappointed no white person died as a result of his actions.
He’ll probably end up divorcing his wife...
