All joking aside, this is the second issue related to HOA’s and display of the American flag in the Richmond area. The other one was a couple of years ago. Similar circumstances. That homeowner had to remove the flagpole from his property and I’m afraid this gentleman will have to do the same.
It is a shame that people don’t exercise judgment and common sense. Fear of getting sued to death, I guess.
Nevertheless, this HOA should grant this MOH veteran an exemption.
Posting articles is a copy & paste operation.
No typing required, unless you want to show off your cool new flagpone to a bunch of falgs.
Sussex Square Home Owners Association is the place. I saw the phone numbers on another link but I forgot.
You want to post like a liberal twit why not go over to MoveOn.org I’m sure you’d fit in just fine there.
Jubilation T. Cornpone? What was Frank Zappa doing with this? Poking fun at American culture I suppose.
I had less use for him when he was alive than homeowners associations.
Keywords:

While I - and so many other FReepers - are taking great delight at the many, many errors in your thread; I’d like also to point out two more:

Search did not work either
General Jubilation T. Cornpone was the name of the Civil War hero whose statue stood in Dogpatch in the “L’il Abner” comic strip (and the Broadway and Hollywood musicals). In the musical it was discovered that because of Cornpone’s ineptitude (he lost all of the battles he fought in for the south) his statue was declared a national shrine by President Lincoln and that saved Dogpatch from being used as an atomic bomb test site.
LOL - I sometimes look forward to typos. Peps me up a bit to imagine the falgs over at media madders stuned and bewildered. ;o)
just proves yet again that if you want a lot of posts, misspell something in the title.
