It’s amazing how so many people would rather make fun of a poster’s errors than discuss the serious issue being posted.

HOAs, are unfortunately, a fact of life in most urban settings. The solution is to move somewhere people still value individual freedom. My recommendation is Idaho or Texas. If he’s 90 south TX would be a better climate. I have room and a place for his flag.

I wish there were a live cadre of proofreaders in front of whose eyes this stuff would appear. Or maybe a “spell check” feature that would come on automatically and not agree to post anything before it had been corrected; for example “flagpone” and “falg” would be locked in place waiting for a correction,before posting. That feature of course, might prevent lots of puns or wordplay or witticisms from making their way onto threads.
