Then PHD candidates that took part in this fraud should not be awarded their Doctorate.

We can hope, but it seems to me they are doubling down. Everywhere but Fox, alarmist stories are playing every day. It could be just the previously scheduled ramp-up to the Copenhagen hoopla, but coverage of the climategate story would be much more appropriate under the circumstances.
