ROSWELL, N.M. (AP) - Shelly Barreras of Rio Rancho drove more than 200 miles, arrived in Roswell two nights ago and slept in a camper in a bookstore parking lot to meet former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
Barreras' effort paid off -- she was first in line to meet Palin, who brought her "Going Rogue" book tour to Roswell on Tuesday.
The former Alaska governor signed copies of her new book for three hours at Hastings Books, Music & Videos.

As I just posted elsewhere, was in Cancun last week for the holiday and had a pleasant surprise, men and women reading Sarah’s book at the pool!Everyone we spoke to from Orange County, San Diego, Philly, Winston-Salem, were totally against what is going on in this country and hopping mad! What a wonderful vacation I had!
That’s great to hear that people were reading her book. I always felt that Palin’s book would have quite an impact, and go a long way to change the perception of her created by the MSM. The MSM and dems know this, and that is why they are in full attack, and near panic mode.
Even government-hidden space aliens love Sarah.
They usually fly in for events like this.
Under heavy guard, of course.
Roswell, eh? What’s her position on illegal aliens?
Sarah is generating some Major League excitement and breaking all records with her book and tour. I don’t think the Demoncrat/Media complex realize what this means for 2012. They are going to SERIOUSLY underestimate Sarah Palin’s support.
I think it would be -
you’re welcome to come and assimilate, as long as you come in legally.

Wowsers! 1,000 people in Roswell!!???
No wonder the left are quivering in their flip-flops at the very mention of her name!!
