and I wonder whether or not we are seeing an orchestrated attack on Christmas - everywhere.

If the Kenyan pre-empts "A Charlie Brown Christmas" again next Tuesday, we'll know for sure.

If they are volunteer firefighters, then, they can't be fired, right ? ......

Wonderful story. Great example to follow, as you suggest.

I wonder now if they’re volunteer firemen, it being Massachusetts and all. They may be paid. (All the better to funnel the doh-ray-me to political war chests.) It’s a shame. A mass resignation of volunteers would make the town fathers soil their undies.

[[one person, one, count ‘em one person complained so the angel was removed because the company was afraid of being sued,]]

Sued for what? Because someone’s delicate feelings were ‘hurt’? Our laws don’t protect people’s ‘feelings’ but rather protect people’s constitutional rights. IF people could be sued for hurt feelings, or feelings of disgust, orwhatever- then there would be no porn shops, no drug shps, no adult entertainment shops etc etc etc- I find it funny that peopel can complain about an angel, and get hte angel removed, but people who have to walk their kids past porn shops haven’t got any say about it?

What next? Shut down all bars because it offends someone? The constitution states that public offices can not FORCE or COERCE anyone to beleive something- hangign a sign or putting up an angel is forcing NOONE to convert or change their beliefs- I’m tellin yas- this coutnry has becoem intensely sissified- whining to the courts because they think the courts have a responsibility to protect their precious little feelings.

That firehouse shoudl have told the authorities to go pound sand- and come back when they have proof that a sign forces ANYONE to convert, or if it EVER manages to ‘establish a religion that everyone is forced, by mandate of law, to covnert to’

[[Actual Americans and Christians must begin to stand up in these situations. Tell the “officials” to PISS OFF!!]]

Precisely- our laws are meant ot make sure noone is FORCED to convert to any one religion- it is NOT meant to coddle people who might be ‘offended’- Yet legislators are trampling all over EVERYONE’s Constitutional rights be declaring what can and can’t be said.

If they put up a ‘Happy Allahu Akbar’ sign, the leftists wouldn’t say a word.

Town officials told firefighters last week to take down the homemade sign after they said people complained.

One of the oldest civil rights, going back to the Magna Carta, I believe, is the right to face one's accuser.
I would urge the firemen to insist on at least that much before even thinking of taking that sign down.

If they need financial support, I'm in...

Names of complainants, please.

If anyone in the vicinity of this town can post a clear picture of the sign, I am sure that copies might start popping up nation-wide...

‘...after they said people complained’

The world is, quite simply, doomed. No ifs, ands, or buts.
