I’ve been looking at some of the documents and keep running across text in messages where the word warming is in “”. i.e.,
“In a paper by Hammer , the north and south GRIP records (O18)

It’s as if those “” are little winks.
And they make stupid jokes with each other about the source of their data, i.e., ...

And then...in respose to FOIA...suspicious looking notes in a Jones folder:

ClimateGate’s Michael Mann To Be Investigated By Penn State
Mann, as one of the originators of the infamous Hockey Stick graph, is the climatologist at the very heart of the global warming myth.
As the creator of “Mike’s Nature trick,” a particularly damning phrase used in one of the e-mail messages in question, Mann is also a key figure in ClimateGate.
Given his importance to the climate movement and all those involved including Nobel Laureate Al Gore, President Obama, and Congressional Democrats desperately trying to enact cap and trade legislation, it will be very interesting to see how this press release from Penn State gets reported in the coming days (h/t Anthony Watts via Marc Morano):

PORT OF SPAIN, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) — The leaders of the Commonwealth backed plans for a quick start climate change fund in a communique issued on Saturday in Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago.
The statement also throws its weight behind the negotiation process for a global climate change agreement that is due to complete on Dec. 18 in Danish capital Copenhagen, five leaders told a press conference held on the second day of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
In the communique, Commonwealth leaders welcomed “the initiative to start a Copenhagen Launch Fund staring in 2010 and building to a level of 10 billion (U.S. dollars) annually in 2010.”
On Friday, French President Nicolas Sarkozy told media here that he had proposed such a fund alongside British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, saying that it should pay out 10 billion dollars a year during 2010, 2011 and 2012.
The communique said that Commonwealth leaders believe “an internationally legally binding agreement is essential. We pledge our continued support of the leaders-driven process guided by the Danish prime minister.”
The statement drew an immediate welcome from the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
“I am very encouraged by the shared desire for a successful outcome next month in Copenhagen,” Ban said at a press conference where four other leading figures — Patrick Manning, prime minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Kamalesh Sharma, secretary-general of the Commonwealth, Kevin Rudd, prime minister of Australia and Lars Lokke Rasmussen, prime minister of Denmark — also spoke.
The conference was the formal launch of the Port of Spain Declaration, which formally declared climate change to be an “existential threat” for key commonwealth nations.
The CHOGM brought together 51 senior representatives from nations most of which were former British colonies. It also attracted leaders active in the climate change arena, including the president of Franc among a total of 5,000 delegates including government officials, non-government organization workers, business people, media and representatives of youth organizations.

US Lawmakers Seek To Unseal Records In Climate Fraud Case

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)—U.S. legislators are seeking to open sealed documents in a case of multi-million-dollar climate fraud, according to a rare filing by House of Representatives’ lawyers.
Two Republican legislators say the records could shed light on the potential challenges of policing a new, trillion-dollar commodities market that would be created under climate legislation that Congress is considering.
Reps. Joe Barton (R., Texas), ranking member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, and Greg Walden, (R., Ore.), ranking member of an oversight and investigations panel, have asked a federal district court in California to unseal all the closed records regarding the successful prosecution of Anne Masters Sholtz, a former California Institute of Technology economist, for fraud. The House Office of General Counsel is pursuing the matter for the lawmakers, without objection from the Department of Justice.
Fueled by recent Wall Street chicanery and the contribution of banks, brokers and hedge funds to the financial meltdown, lawmakers say the case of climate fraud could expose the very real weaknesses of a federal “cap-and-trade” system.
Congress is considering legislation that would set a declining cap on greenhouse gas emissions and create a market where companies can buy and sell emission rights.

Heck...I've got to go up to CT for a Dec 6 Christmas party with about 100 in-laws and extended who don't want to hear anything bad about their glorious master.
It is almost like going to a "white" ACORN convention....
Fortunately there are three nephews (in their mid 30's) who are unblemished by such stupidity...So we congregate centrally at these things and go on an anticommunist tirade that drives the obamaobots nuts...
Will be giving each of them "Liberty & Tyranny" and "Going Rogue" as a present....
I will be wearing some Gitmo attire... (What is the call-code to call in fire on top of your position? 1952 is a long time away and my memory fades...)
