I was shocked at the price of pork when shopping. It is around #2-#2.50 a lb. Anyone with freezer should stock up as that is less than hamburger. Iowa Granny suggests that it is because the pork producers are hurting with many of thel younger ones about to lose their land and their herds. Many ignoramuses (probably Democrats) seem to think that swine fue comes from pigs so they are not buying it. I could have bought a nice little — already seasoned — pork loin for #3.49 on Wed. at the Piggly Wiggly. No kidding!

And yes, we invited the dog too. He was underfoot all day and had his share of goodies.
