I don’t know why it makes Catholics so mad when people say that demanding celibacy from priests is ridiculous, has no basis in the Bible or the teachings of Jesus and discourages normal men from entering the priesthood.
The Catholic church has looked the other way far too long on the homosexual priest problem. They should not be in the priesthood in a position of authority over altar boys.
All that aside, this threat is despicable, but just what you’d expect.
It's a violation of a vow made before God. That should offend anybody. And besides the discipline of priestly celibacy is Latin rite and some other western rites. The eastern rites don't practice it.
Catholics get upset because people like you who make these specious, at best, claims are ignorant of what Scripture actually teaches.
By the way, Einstein, what is your explanation for the behavior of these protestants?
Well as far as I am concerned,
when it comes to one evil group threatening to spill something about another evil group to coerce them or whatever,
I say “Fine, tell us the evil, we’ll deal with both of you.”
