Today, Michael Bloomberg's coalition against illegal guns placed a full-page ad in the Washington Post urging lawmakers to prevent suspects on a federally maintained "terror watch list" from being allowed to purchase guns.
"500 mayors agree with the Obama and Bush Administrations: stop terror suspects from getting guns," the ad says.
It's also been an issue that Rahm Emanuel voiced support for back in 2007, according to this video clip.
"We got to make this a number one issue, as a test vote, and take it into the election." He added, "If it's between that terrorist list and the NRA, I know where America is going to be every time."
Bloomberg said closing this loophole was his "number one priority." He also offered the following description of why gun control critics have been so successful in blocking this kind of restriction: "There's extremists in the pro-gun movement who threaten our elected representatives around the country, whether they're in the legislature or executive side with working to get them removed, to remove them from office if they don't support the line that the extremists want: no reasonable restrictions, no enforcement of federal laws, elimination of federal laws. And we've just got to say 'we're not going to take it anymore.'"

Deny Americans their Constitutional rights, but give terrorists like KSM Constitutional rights that they don't deserve. Yeah Rahm, that's the ticket!
Being suspected of anything is not a conviction, nor a violation of the law. These people would deny due process and spit on the Constitution.

Well, since they’re probably counting the mayors of cities like Wide Spot, AR, and since there are 18,000 cities and towns in the US, saying 500 mayors favor this is like saying 17,500 oppose it. Someone on the RIGHT side of this issue should buy an ad saying THAT.
There's no appeal. There's no reason given why someone is on the list. There's no convictions or trial to determine who is a so-called terrorist.

KEEP IN MIND Candidate Obama campaigned on installing a “Civilian Security Force” on US soil. We can safely assume that means the Security Force has guns.......and makes sure the citizenry does not.
Rahm Emanuel surely got his top White House job as Obama’s COS, based on his training on how to organize a “Civilian Security Force” when Rahm voluntered for the Israeli military.
Rham trained as a volunteer for “Sar’el”—— the three-week Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) training program to train civilians.
Circa 1991 Rahm Emmanuel volunteered in a program for civilian service in the IDF, and worked on brake components for APC’s and tanks in an IDF military motor pool.
Rahm is lacking part of a finger and for many years went around claiming that he’d lost it in actions against the enemy when he was in a tank (a tank is a BIG gun).
Course if Rahm fought in the military of foreign government, that would negate his American citizenship (US citizens forfeit their citizenship when they serve in the military of a foreign government).
Rahm volunteered for “Sar’el”——a three-week Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) training program (like US boot camp) where civilians are trained to assist the Israeli military (military are people who use guns).
Rahm lived on an IDF military base---with people who had guns---to get the proper training. A civilian volunteer, Rahm assisted the IDF during the 1991 Gulf War in one of Israel’s northern military bases.
Rahm was following in the footsteps of his Dad. His father was an Israeli who was part of the underground resistance movement under the British Mandate............and they didn't resist using popsicle sticks.
