Laugh .. that’s what I was thinking ... but would be even stranger ...
First thing that crossed my mind. If he had a shave and proper haircut, he'd look like any average joe.
How much more “strange” can you get? Lane is a funny man...
I thought the same thing. If he’d just shave and cut his hair but that would be too easy.

Yeah, this whole thing reeks of a publicity stunt. If he’s so “ashamed” of the connection, then just keep quiet about it. And, oh yeah, get a haircut and a shave so people won’t make the connection. Jeeze....some people will do ANYTHING for their 15 minutes of fame.
It will undoubtedly help him sell his upcoming book about his entire experience.
There were a bunch of babies/kids (10-20?)taken by authorities when the Spahn Ranch was raided after the murders—Nearly all fathered by Manson or Tex Watson.
I think Watson was married in jail later, given conjugal rights, and had a few more kids, who lived with their mother on welfare since Daddy’s in the Graybar Hotel.
What a stupid society we have become during and since the 1960s....

Talk about losing the biological lottery. Ooof.
If you have ever wasted your time watching daytime TV, the talk shows would have these reunions between kids given up for adoption & their parents. They are always portrayed as tearful, but happy reunions.
But one time, Sally Jesse did one on reunions that ruined peoples lives. At least this one show recognized that sometimes, it was better not to know who your real parents were. And sometimes, the biological parents were better off not knowing what happened to their kid.
