I hope he does not run. Hayworth has already lost a Republican district. I am not from there but I understand he would not make a particularly attractive candidate. Maybe someone else would get in. What do you locals think about Sheriff Joe?

Retire the RINO!!! Get a clue, you old bag of bones - we, the people, are DONE with you and your entrenched political buddies!

It is way over due that John McCain sever his ties with the Washington elite. He lost focus with he average American a long time ago and needs to actually live in Arizona for a change.

I can’t vote for him but I could definitely squeeze a few bucks out for him.

Obviously, you are not from or know anyting about the Grand Canyon State. He lost his district because he went against the amnesty plan of McQuig and Bush and the Party would not support him. That was the 2006 off year.

JD has had tremendous audience since hosting an AM talk radio show and exposing the problems up in Washington. I think if anyone could beat McCain, It’s JD! I’m for him all the way - he’s a strong candidate...the only reason he lost his seat in 2006 is the Tempe area was streaming with young liberal college ASU students who bought the Harry Mitchell propaganda. Statewide I think JD would be a strong candidate and could unseat McCain in the primary if he decides to run!

Yeah, he lost. he lost to a Democrat who went to the right of him on everything including immigration in the campaign in a very bad year for Republicans. making it worse McCain had no interest in seeing him re-elected given j.d. was leading a very vocal opposition against him over amnesty. Remember that? We were at war with McCain, Bush and practically the whole party in 2005-2006 over it.

This is not 2006. Bush is gone. Democrat’s have massively screwed up and McCain is more despised then ever.

I'm not from AZ either, but wasn't JD in a shaky district for a conservative, one that included liberal Tempe and Arizona State University?

Would love to see him run, and I doubt there is a better conservative or Republican to challenge Juan.

Does JD talk about McCain on his radio show? Does he criticize him?

I’m not in JD’s district, I’m in John Shadegg’s but I heard that Harry Mitchell ran to the right of JD on the immigration issue. Is that not correct?

He sure does talk about him, pokes him with a sharp stick on a pretty regular basis :-)

He may want to hold out for the Governor’s race though so he gets to stay home and he’s in the Executive instead of one of 100 Senators.

NOT

I remember hearing J.D. on radio the day of the election and he was emphaticly anti amnesty. I was on business in Miami and remember pulling into a parking lot just to hear the interview.

Please JD! Please run and rid us all of that festering boil McLame!

The damage he’s done to this country outweighs the noble and admirable service of his earlier years. His political capital has been spent and we need him to retire. Give Cindy a good rogering at one of their vacation homes and keep his pie-hole shut and his mug off the TVs.

That’s what I mean - he (Harry Mitchell) posed as being even more anti-illegal than JD who is very strong against illegals, so it took some doing to top JD on the subject.

What’s got me worried is that the little dweebish Minuteman, one-trick-pony Chris Simcox, is already running, and stands to divide the true conservative vote mercilessly in the Primary, leaving McLame in place.

I’ve got nothing against Simcox except the fact that I don’t think he can 1) defeat McLame, nor 2) win a statewide contest on his single issue persona. So we got trouble, right here in river city.

I'm assuming Simcox is running as independent. Then the thought came to me,.........it was an epiphany! Get Sarah Palin to endorse Hayworth against McCain. My wife was wondering what I was chortling over at the puter!
