I think pirate-repelling would be a cool job! I forget where I saw it. But there was a satiracal piece that was penned a while back about a new cruise line that offered pirate shooting as the theme. I thought it was hilarious. Maybe someone could find it and post it.

I believe I heard the Russians were offering charters for folks who want to go out there and hunt pirates...
That may have been what you heard or saw...
I believe it was in one of the first threads on FR when the whole piracy thing started ramping up...
