I do not understand your comment. What is God's definition, as these abuses occurred in 'His' name? And NO I am not picking on the Catholic Church. I would ask the same question regardless of the denomination.

The issue is not whether it was evil. Nobody disputes that.

The point is that when adult men abuse adolescents, the adult men are NOT “pedophiles.” They are homosexual abusers.

That’s why the “study” is bogus. It is an attempt to keep the mislabeling of the problem as “pedophile priests.” The number of actual pedophiles who have been exposed in “the scandals” is between two and five.

Not at all.
But to solve the problem, we must understand the problem.
This was not, really, a case of adults attracted to children.
Many “true” pedophiles are attracted to little boys and little girls, alike.
Very, very few of the abusive Priests messed around with little girls. In fact, very few of the Priests were even attracted to anyone under the age of puberty.
This makes the problem a bit more clear:
Homosexual Priests were almost exclusively responsible for this entire problem!
The number of abusive Priests is less than 5% of the entire Priesthood, but they have done enormous damage.

Again, let us all understand the problem before we try to “fix” anything:

Men who are attracted to other men should not spend large amounts of time, alone, with vulnerable young men.

I would not want my under-age daughters to spend the night, in a tent, with a grown man.

Children should NOT be put in a position of being around those who might be sexually attracted to them.

Many homosexual Priests joined the Priesthood, in the FIRST place, as an escape. Before the Homosexual lifestyle came out of the closet, being a Priest was a way to avoid catching hell for not being married, a way to avoid detection.

Though less than 5% of the Priesthood caused these problems, almost ALL of those, particular Priests, are HOMOSEXUALS!

Of course He does, because He's at least as smart as I am. To distinguish between two things does not imply APPROVAL of either one of them.
