At this late date, those on the left who despise Sarah Palin are not going to be impressed by anything she says or does. Those of us who admire Sarah Palin will appreciate her book and the information it provides.

That Palin was mis-used (to be polite) by the losers on the McCain 'team' has long been obvious - Palin just gives us the details. Charging her half a million dollars for vetting her? That's outrageous. The snide comment from a McCain operative that had McCain won, they would have paid for everything, is lame. Clearly, the loser team that 'handled' Sarah Palin had no real expertise and weren't very interested in helping her help McCain thus proving their ineptitude.

Sarah Palin has a great future. The revulsion of the left when Palin's name is mentioned says it all: if they hate her she must be doing something right.

I believe McCain’s campaign staff are the culprits here. I think they also guided McCain into a loss on purpose. They are leftists moles who keep urging Republicans to move left to “attract moderates.” That keeps the Republicans who listen to them from running on conservative principles and getting elected, as they surely would.

They are also the ones who seemed to gleefully embarrass Palin and keep her offstage as much as possible. Why? Because she was injecting energy into the McCain campaign so that he might even win, and they are afraid of her in the future.

It's outrageous but that's not quite correct. The excerpt says that the half million is her total legal bill, about 1/10th of which is the McCain vetting bill. The remaining 9/10ths are from defending herself against frivolous ethics charges in Alaska.

Either way, Governor Palin really got dumped on in the election.
