100-200 people dying of flu wouldn't be newsworthy any more than 100 deaths in auto accidents every day is.

And yet, here we are talking about 3,900 deaths in approximately 210 days... an average of less than 19 per day.

I have H1N1 right now, I got tested Saturday and results I got Monday AM. Not fun at all, the hacking cough, the headache and the joint pain and body aches. Throw in the diarhea and dry mouth and it’s just dandy. I got TamiFlu(200 bucks) and only today am I feeling better. Nasty bugger, I suggest of you can get the vaccine, please do.

At the height of the Flu Pandemic of 1918, Philadelphia alone was recording 100-200 deaths per day. They were hit particularly hard.
