This is NOT a pandemic or emergency by any stretch of the imagination. South America had a MUCH milder flu season, and their primary strain this year was the H1N1.

But there is a common denominator to those who are dying, which is largely patients with pre-existing neurological problems.

The problem is insufficient SATURATED FAT.

The body needs a great deal of saturated fat for healthy tissues, especially the brain, spinal cord, and nerves.

BUT the lungs ALSO need saturated fat (when it can get it) to completely thin-coat all breathing surfaces -called lung surfactant. The toxic polyunsaturated vegetable oils and margarines on the market do not make a good replacement, and they go rancid (oxidize) quickly in the body. It is these surfaces of the lungs that get inflamed by H1N1, causing the deaths.

SEVEN REASONS TO EAT MORE SATURATED FAT
Reason #4: Healthy Lungs

A better way to cure the H1N1 'coughing flu' than Tamiflu could be 7 days of mega-doses of Vitamin D3 [per executive answer #3]

Thanks.

There’s a whole lotta FUD here. What’s needed is a breakdown of how H1N1 infection is being calculated. How many people are being treated for H1N1. How many people can be reasonably believed to have had H1N1 without being treated. What are the tests for H1N1 and how accurate are the tests.

What is the efficacy of the flu shots/mist, both seasonal and H1N1, would also be nice to know.

If we get the same Ukraine strain plague here it will be a HUGE area of concern ....

The below doctor got the swine flu twice ...

Some people say H1N1 may have already mutated which is why there are more and more reports of people getting the swine flu twice .

I also have an interesting link to a Vitamin D3 freeper post at the bottom of this thread.

Area doctor says she tested positive for H1N1 twice

by Zack Harold
Daily Mail staff

CROSS LANES, W.Va.—A Cross Lanes pediatrician says she came down with swine flu twice in two months, and she’s among the medical professionals who are puzzled by the occurrence.

Dr. Debra Parsons, a pediatrician at Kid Care West in Cross Lanes, said both she and her son came down with identical flu-like symptoms in August.
Figuring they had the same disease, Parsons swabbed herself and sent the specimen off to a lab. She tested positive for Influenza A, which includes several strains of the flu.

Health officials say that in this region more than 99 percent of people who have been testing positive for Influenza A are later confirmed to have swine flu.
Parsons said that was the case with her family; a more specific follow-up “sub-typing” test at the state lab confirmed she had H1N1.

Parsons and her son recovered from the symptoms but in October they struck again and were much worse, she said. Both had body aches, fever, chills, wheezing, and shortness of breath.

This time Parsons swabbed both herself and her son, and both tests came back positive for Influenza A. She said she pushed for further testing to determine the strain, and the lab ran an immunofluorescence test on the specimens. They again tested positive for H1N1, she said.

Parsons’ second swab was sent to the state lab Wednesday for even further testing and results should be returned in a couple of days or sent to the Centers for Disease Control for follow-up tests, she said.

This vitamin D3 link thread was very interesting .

This thread is pertinent to the discussion in light of the current fears of flu.

thanks for the info.

in regards to the “definition” of pandemic, the h1n1 is in a pandemic stage which means that it crossed continents. It has nothing to do with the amount of people being sick only the geography.

yes, it is not an emergency.

I take 4,000 iu per day and still get sick... I wonder if my blood level is as high as it should be.

Great article on the saturated fat.
