This was near Tarpon Springs which was predominantly settled by Greek Sponge Divers. In fact the area retains much of the Greek family friendly environment.

It can also be noted that St. Augustine was settled by Greek settlers in 1768. (for those in rio linda, that is 8 YEARS before the formation of the USA)

This reservist made a bonehead mistake. To be in the tampa area and not notice the Greeks is like being in South California and not noticing the illegal aliens.

As we both know it is a long way from Tarpon Springs to Tampa over non-highway roads. One is a small seaside town the other a large urban area. Imo there is simply no way this priest was driving around Tarpon Springs and became 'lost' to wind up in downtown Tampa. It's a 45-min drive to the South East and the city is clearly visible over the flat terrain.
