I disagree. 9/11 was supposed to be that time and the World Trade Center that place.

I can't even give many of them that much credit anymore. The reality has been too plain for too long. I really believe that now many of them are actively against America, whites, Christians, capitalism, democracy. They all must have a superiority complex, because they all believe that they will be in the small ruling elite which will be immune to the repercussions. One small satisfaction is in knowing how surprised they will be when they learn they're not exempt.

I certainly agree with you that 9/11 SHOULD HAVE BEEN that crossroads......but, as we all have seen, it was not. Like adolescents, the memory and agony felt across the land regarding that occasion has faded with time, and has put us back into a place of semi-retarded complacency. We were hoorah for only a few months before we reverted back to a pre-911 sense of security.

One huge mistake that our leaders, including Mr. Bush, did at that time after the attack was to tell us to resume life as usual. The message was “Don't worry...we'll take care of you.” More reliance on a PC government which has lead us to where we are today. How's that workin’ out for you?
