I am amazed - Hussein told us just a couple of days ago that all was well and the amount of unemployed was ‘slowing’. /sarc

These are good paying jobs. This one really bites other businesses that count on these pilots spending money in their communities. Obama is such a wonderful change and hope artists.

If their are 500 pilots, let us consider all the support, maintainence, etc all the way to spare parts suppliers keeping the birds flying. Now consider all those desinations they used to fly to to spend money.
Any Obamaton telling me the economy is turning around is smoking crack.

This is a major indicator of the state of the worlds economy.
Very similar in its indicator value to the cargo container/shipping decline and its related ripple effect on trucking/transport areas of the economy.

And obviously small business people have slowed up....
But, Obamas stimulus reporters will maintain they saved another 500 jobs, not only that they have to add in the spin offs.....
To: george76
The good part per the MSM will be that 2,500 pilot jobs were saved ... yep ... glad my company only has ten of us and we’re doing ok, sorta (would like more hours).

“Obamas stimulus reporters will maintain they saved another 500 jobs”
They just transfered them from payroll checks to unemployment checks which they consider jobs.
