I believe he would, he has not officially been charge of a crime yet. I suspect he is still getting full pay and allowances.

I am 100% confident that you do not get the SGLI from a death that resulted from criminal acts or direct acts which violated the UCMJ. I hope that they at least cut off his pay. I think his funeral should, where we take him to the Amazon and dump him into a lake filled with piranhas. Then we can give him the 21 gun salute of AK-47s, the Taliban’s assualt rifle of choice.
