Have people been asleep? We already had secession in the United States. Once we started using the Constitution as toilet paper, we had seceded.
Here in Texas, the goal for us conservatives is to re-join the Constitution as it IS written, unfortunately - we’ll likely have to go it alone (or with a small group of other states), rather than bringing the entire country back to the document.

Should this constitution nullifying bill become the law of the land, then this government will have become destructive of these ends! God help us all, but this tyranny cannot be allowed to stand!!

The last time this was tried was not in the 1700’s but in 1800’s and the people who seceded were forced back into the Union.
