About 2 hours ago, I kept hearing helicopters going overhead (we’re not too far from DAFB.) My husband was working in the garage and I asked him if he’d noticed them and he said they’re bringing the bodies from Ft. Hood. So very sad.

Have learned Hasan started shooting inside then moved outside where he was confronted by the heroic woman Police Officer who shot him while he turned and shot her.
Earlier report said he was chasing one of the people he had shot and wounded when the police sgt. started shooting him and he turned to shoot at her.
I’d like to know whether or not that wounded soldier survived.

Sounds like they moved him out of a civilian hospital to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Would say security is probably a reason.

The bodies would come in via transport plane, not helicopters, to Dover. The distance from Texas to Delaware is too far for helicopters.

I have been thinking about this as well. Some PC general/base commander who most probably heard about this rag saying those things about America and swept it under the rug.

He did admit that was a communications screw up yesterday (no kidding) Looks like the Lt General was given the wrong information that the shooter had died and then last night was told he was alive but they lost track of him during the chaos. That was a major screwup. Now they are saying he was under custody at all times.

But, having said that, I thought "pulling the plug" with Timothy McVeigh (i.e., his very quick death sentence) was a bit too convenient for the government, too -- back then. They should have kept McVeigh around for a long while and worn him down and gotten more information out of him. I suspect that many in the government wanted to make sure McVeigh would not be able to talk in the future...
