Rep. Steve King calls for reinforcements at Capitol Fri. & Sat. to stop Obama/PelosiCare

During the course of our House Calls at the Capitol yesterday afternoon, a group of us spotted Rep. Steve King at one of the entrances of the Cannon Building.

He asked us to keep the pressure on by coming back to the Capitol today, Friday and tomorrow, Saturday until the vote occurs at 6:00 PM tomorrow evening.

If you were not able to make it to the rally yesterday, or did so and can do more, PLEASE come back to give the representatives that are actually working for us, some much needed reinforcements!

What are you all using for talking points? I’ve got:

*$900 billion in new taxes and Medicare cuts (my family can’t afford to pay any more in taxes)
*CBO says it will cost $1.2 trillion, but government estimates are always too low
*it will require taxpayers to pay for abortion
*it will cover illegal immigrants
*the individual mandate is unconstitutional

What else am I forgetting?

The most important moment for me yesterday was spotting Rep. King! There was a small gathering around him so I asked someone if that was indeed Steve King. NO ONE in that small crowd, including a couple of Captiol police knew who he was!

When I finally had my turn I thanked him for his rock solid support on the WOT and the fabulous speech he made on the House floor last year. He nearly cried and broke my hand as he squeezed it before he simply hugged me. LOVE him!

Now you know why I have not made it to the latest DH interview thread as of yet. I may need to get a bit more sleep before I tackle that one.

I've got any version of federal health care is unconstitutional since Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution does not specifically grant Congress the power to regulate health care. Therefore the people are not bound to abide by any Congressional health care.

GOP Leader is twittering that there are still not enough Dems signed on yet - and vote will keep being delayed into next week until Nancy forces or bribs enough dems

Other whip lists show as many as 69 dems are currently withholding vote
