As a military 'brat', and sister of a soldier who served a year in Iraq, I am ashamed of this man's reaction to the Fort Hood terrorist attack yesterday. >:-(

Whoever posted this video for the White House didn't even bother to edit out the POTUS's joking attitude and the 'shout outs' at the beginning (INSTEAD OF ADDRESSING THE ISSUE IMMEDIATELY, AS HE SHOULD HAVE IF HE RESPECTED THE PEOPLE WHO SERVE UNDER HIM), unlike ALL of the MSM who simply reported the Fort Hood perfunctory comments and the soundbite "horrific outburst of violence"!!

Comments do not start until 1:56(!) on the video. Almost 2 whole minutes before he addresses the fact that soldiers under HIS command have been murdered on American soil!!! Galling!! >:-( Our military troops, veterans and their families deserve so much better.

Checked the White House site and the transcript re the Native American conference was complete, even to the error about Joe Medicine Crow have received the Congressional Medal of Honor.
Joe Medicine Crow was never awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor as the the Son of OBama states but was rather awarded the Congressional Gold Medal, a nonmilitary award. But then the great Son of OB misspeaks often, and his DUHs, DUHs, make him lose focus I think.

The transcript has a correcting asterisk with the phrase: “President Medal of Freedom” with no explanation.

As the Simpleton Joe would say: “Stand up, Charlie, let everyone see you”

Had that been Bush, a REAL president and CIC, we would have seen anger, faith, courage, respect, empathy, true love for his country and..... even tears in his eyes.
