Major Malik Nadal Hasan, who opened fire on American troops at Fort Hood, was an Army psychiatrist who decried the U.S. invasion of Muslim lands, condemned the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and voiced his support of the global jihad.
But he was never taken to task for his views by his commanding officers and never reprimanded for his anti-American tirades.
Hasan was a devout Muslim who was born in Jordan and educated at the University of Damascus.
He despised Christians and Jews and the principles of American democracy.
Why was a radical jihadist serving in the U.S. Army?
Why was he granted rank and privilege until he withdrew his weapons to mow down 43 soldiers, killing 12 and wounding 31, on a "secure" military base.
The event was sponsored not only by the Ford Motor Company (we thought they were bankrupt) and the American Arab Chamber of Commerce but also (get this) by the FBI, the CIA and various branches of the U.S. Armed Services, including the Army.

When the news broke about the shooting in Ft. Hood, everyone I know said “It must be a Muslim”. This morning, Major Hasan and America’s Muslims in general, are being portrayed as victims.
There are some inconsistensies in your story. He apparently was born in Virginia and went to VA Tech. He becomes guilty of high treason just by that. As to why is he in the military, I cant answer that execept to say that the Army is riddled with political correctness. Hasan apparently didnt mind being recently promoted to Major even with bad OERs. But Doctors have long been difficult to recruit and a bad OER apparently wont stop promotion to field grade. Another question is there were red flags everywhere on his activities but no one did anything. Now 13 are dead and we have to know why he was allowed to get to this point. And someone must pay.

What a psychological mess it must be for a GI to be of a mind, taught, trained and capable of identifying the enemy and responding to him, and bunking with one and being uuable to respond ... either because of training or fear.
And in fairness ... malik was under the same pressure .... an entire life of being taught and trained who HIS enemy is, and attempting to live with him.

Military wants to be lauded for bending over backwards to be in the vanguard of being tolerant and diverse. It’s so “diverse” that it now tolerates infiltrators and traitors within the ranks. I fear that incidents like this will increase. After all, let’s not forget the recruiter shooting not too long ago.
