I have had several of older people I know that had to have their Appendicts out. I had mine out when I was a teenager which is not unusal for a youngster. Wonder why older people are now having that problem?

I’m about 5 years older than Glenn and I had mine out in August, 2005. I had a wicked stomach ache the night before which kept me up all night, I felt like throwing up, and I had a dull pain in my right side.
The doctor told me in the ER that it’s possible to have appendicitis even if you’re 80 years old.
Ty Pennington of “Extreme Home Makeover” had his out a few years ago while on location with his TV show. I believe he’s in his 40’s.

Actually, appendicitis has a bimodal age distribution, with peaks at age 25 and 65.
