The office of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid circulated an analysis arguing that “gubernatorial races are primarily about local issues,” and that it’s therefore “hard to draw any direct comparisons between what happened in New Jersey and Virginia and what will happen in Congress.”

And there is the disconnect folks.

Former Speaker of the House explaining how the problems and concerns of towns and cities around the country affect the actions of their representatives and senators in Washington, D.C. said:

gubernatorial races are primarily... local

-13bama makes REPEATED visits to 'Jersey, and Corzine/Daggett lose bigtime. -13bama makes no visits to NY-23, and the 'rat wins. Coincidence?

My open letter to Rep. Alan Boyd, D-FL (alleged Blue Dog):

We the people know this monstrous 1,990 page “Health Insurance Reform” (or whatever it’s called now) is a giant Ponzi pyramid scam that will make Bernie Madoff look like a rank amateur... to pass it you in Congress are gonna hafta do it in secret in dark rooms... cause it will destroy the best healthcare system on Earth. How do I know this? You congress members are having NO part of it as you have exempted yourselves from its tyranny! Tells me all I need to know as you lead the descent into the black hole of fascism! A huge destruction of American wealth and liberty! If you support this, you are a “Pink Dog”!

And also... you and your increasingly imperial and arrogant president and congressional leadership, who after narrowly passing “Crap ‘n trade” which will lead to rationing energy and making it much more expensive... order luxury jets ($60M per) that burn more fuel in an hour than my SUV burns in a month so you can travel like royalty, on the taxpayers $$$!

Rep Boyd! Understand this... the American people will NOT tolerate anything but prosperity and freedom! That promise won for you in 2008, but that’s NOT what I see hyper-leftist speaker Pelosi and you doing now!!!!

I highly recommend all of us calling Dingy Harry and informing him that he should start packing his office. He’s TOAST in Nevada. He, apparently, hasn’t been back to Nevada in a long time or he would know that the voters in his state and “the boys” in Vegas want him out of office! Socialist Dingy is bad for business.

The ‘rat won in NY23

because queen Dede was still on the ballot (twice) with an “R” after her name and got 5% of the vote.

Of course,we know he's spinning like a top, hoping to deflect Rat deflections on the 'health' and C&T bills...they smell the stench of defeat and they are grinding their teeth.

But were I still doing political cartoons, I'd draw him in giant horse blinders...

He says as he runs behind in the polls in his own state. You're right Harry--I live in Nevada and we've taken your actions very personally and will make it "local" in 2010.

“gubernatorial races are primarily about local issues,”

and that is why the obummer made so many trips to campaign for the rat candidates there - uh huh, we believe you believe your spin, jackass. (What can one expect from a party that proudly uses the jackass for a mascot?)

This is going to be fun to watch for the 2010 election cycle - none of them are going to want the obummer campaigning for them. LOL

Does anyone remember that scenario happening so early in a presidency?

Don’t count him out.
Reid has the media, ACORN, the Unions, and, apparently, the gambling industry on his side. That’s pretty much all the 500 lb. gorillas in Nevada pulling for him.
Reid ain’t done until his replacement arrives in DC. And even then, somebody should probably do a DNA test on his replacement just to make certain.

But Menendez added: “We need to be focused like a laser beam on the question of the nation’s economy and the issues of how we best can create jobs. That’s the laser-beam approach. If we do that, we’ll be fine next year.”

To help you:
1) GET RID of government intervention. Let the market sort itself out
2) GET RID of ridiculous regulations
3) GET RID of high corporate taxes
4) UNDERSTAND, it’s NOT the GOVERNMENTS role to CREATE jobs. Government does NOTHING to CREATE jobs, that’s up to the private sector. Get OUT of their business and let them do their jobs.

There, THAT’S how you create jobs.

Casinos in Reno and Lake Tahoe are EMPTY! No $$ coming in NADA. The gambling industry is dying in Nevada. Dingy is a liability. Only political morons would ignore that. I’ve seen the empty casinos personally. They’re dead like a morgue even on weekends.

the gambling industry on his side.

Maybe a few tea party's in front of these gambling places would help. They are behind the gov't robbing us. It's not too early, it's take awhile for the truth to settle in with the uninformed.

That’s good news but let’s give the voters one more reason to stay away - they are ‘feeding’ the enemy.

Harry is playing to his national constituency. He knows full well that when he gets booted out, he will remain in DC, just like DasHOLE and reap millions as a lobbyist. He has his golden parachute. Those left will have to deal with the ack ack from the public.
