I hate unions. And not just the corrupt bosses. I hate the union workers too. I hate the union worker mentality. I have no respect at all for union workers. They are entitlement-seeking, do-the-minimum, loafers. I spit on all of them.

The big-government programs of Obama Democrats evidently have less appeal than those trendy posters and inspiring rallies and cries of "We are the change we are seeking." I have yet to see survey research showing that young Americans want to work under union contracts, with their 5,000 pages of work rules and rigid seniority systems. That doesn't sound like a tune that appeals to the iPod generation.

The iPod generation will soon learn that they have voted themselves into indentured servitude.

I know several union guys that are hard working and good people. They are steam fitters and plumbers and do not fit your description.

You shouldn’t hate them. They have done some good things. Do you like the 5 day work week? Thank a union. Not too long ago (only a little before my time) work was a 10 hour day, six days a week. Unions had the largest part in changing that.

That said, they have mostly out-lived their usefulness. They need to go somewhere else that needs their help, like the People’s Republic of China.

I was reared in an union environment. I worked my way through school by working on union jobs in the summers.

For a time, my father was a union official, but the corruption he saw "from the inside" disgusted him so much he turned in his union-supplied car, resigned, and "went back on the tools".

I saw so much "union crap" while I was working that I swore that, if I ever owned a company, I would shoot any union organizer whose shadow crossed my threshhold.

Unions are EVIL!!!
