Unions working in cahoots with management seem to still perfectly capable of getting whatever they want on Main Street.

I was reared in an union environment. I worked my way through school by working on union jobs in the summers.

For a time, my father was a union official, but the corruption he saw "from the inside" disgusted him so much he turned in his union-supplied car, resigned, and "went back on the tools".

I saw so much "union crap" while I was working that I swore that, if I ever owned a company, I would shoot any union organizer whose shadow crossed my threshhold.

Unions are EVIL!!!

Add Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton.
They are “shakedown artists?” too, who derive their power from the Democratic Party.

Oh yes, you can literally add every group that is a “constituency” of the democrat party. Consider gays with their now special rights, Affirmative Action (legal discrimination against white and asian people), and any other democrat group you wish. It is a corrupt relationship of granting excessive group power to monopolize, harrass, or otherwise hold over upon others in exchange for support (votes and dollars) for democrats.
