We should contact these people and suggest that the Blue Dog Democrats caucus with the GOP for a single vote: for the purpose of replacing Nancy Pelosi as the Speaker of the House.

Then the Blue Dogs can again represent their own constituents without fear of reprisals.

That could be, but it doesn’t matter. They have plenty of ways already of tracking down dissidents. The internet is wonderful in many ways, but it has left us without the power of secrecy which protected some of the more controversial of our nation’s founders. For my own part, I am willing to be known by them. God is my defense and truth my weapon of choice. What happens happens, but I can only rest easy with myself if I do what is right and let God handle the consequences that are beyond my control.

The Republicans did the NY-23 in, IMHO. Had Doug been granted Dede's votes, he would have won that election. And there's no telling what would have happened had the NRCC backed him early on with their $900,000 when it was clear that people wanted him.

There's still plenty of people in NY that need to be woken up, but the failure of the 23rd district was the fault of the RINO Republicans.
