HARTFORD, Conn. (AP)—CBS sportscaster Jim Nantz must pay $916,000 yearly in alimony and child support to his ex-wife and give up their Connecticut home under terms of a newly issued divorce decree.
The ruling, made Monday in Bridgeport Superior Court, dissolves the 26-year marriage of Nantz and Ann-Lorraine “Lorrie” Carlsen Nantz. It comes after both testified about the breakdown of their marriage; Judge Howard Owens concluded neither was at fault.
Nantz, described by Owens as “our nation’s most prominent sportscaster,” filed for divorce last year from his wife after years of marriage counseling, according to the decree.
Although Nantz, 50, acknowledged he started dating a 29-year-old woman before the divorce was final, the judge concluded the marriage deteriorated years earlier and “this remote event in no way contributed to the breakdown of the marriage.”

I like Nantz, a strong conservative, and this does not chnage my opinion. Sometimes the “victim” wife is simply a whore and one must move away from that hell.

Wow, sounds like someone had a rough go of it.
In Nantz’ case, a 29 year old hottie certainly soothes the pain.

I assume Jim must have some serious bucks.
A million a year and a mansion is not pocket change even for a well off guy.

Not me. I was a victim of identity theft and my credit rating went up.
The article states Nantz began dating long after the marriage was over as he was simply waiting for the divorce to be finalized.
Well, if you read the article, the woman wouldn’t even accompany him to the ceremony where he was named “Man of the Year”. He received an oil-painted portrait of himself and she wouldn’t let him hang it in the house - it had to go into storage! Those two things sound to me like a selfish, nasty woman, not the kind of woman you can go to for succor, comfort, or relief.

Wow, hope you can back that up, because the only person who’s been caught fooling around has been the guy in this case, more than once.
That is what I was thinking too.
He is a great man, but she treats him like crap on a daily basis.
She has even threatened him that if he tries to divorce her, that she will take their daughter away from him per a judge's ruling because he has no way of proving that she is incapable of taking care of their child.
It's just horrific what my friend has to go through.
The mental/emotional abuse she inflicts on him is nasty business.
Hell hath no fury....and all that.
Might be a tell.............
FWIW-
Not worth the paper it's typed on. Any divorce judge will simply ignore it, and mandate whatever he thinks the wife is "due".
